Tartan34C will become famous soon enough
Passing of a sailor

“The family of Dr. David Parker, better known as Capt Dave is informing all friends and fellow Sailors that our Sailor has passed away Oct 27 and will be layed to rest on Friday Nov 2. He will be missed by some but never forgotten by others.
Thank you all
Wife & Daughter of Dr. Dave Parker

This e-mail address will be left open for a short time if you need to contact us
for any reason. Again Thank You All”

The above was just sent out by the family. Dr. Dave was a good friend, great writer, yacht designer and the creator of the Pathfinder windvane among lots of other good ides. His wit and wisdom will be missed by many including myself and the loss of an intelligent imaginative and creative sounding board will be especially missed by me. He told me recently that he did what he wanted and had no regrets and accepted that the final landfall was near.
All the best,
Robert Gainer
