I have no sympathy...my boat has been on the hard all spring, summer and fall and won't be splashed until early next summer. Gotta love restoration projects!

Any off-season plans? Got any sailing books to read? Any boat projects to tackle? Boat shows to attend? Trips to plan?

yes.. got to get back to rebuilding the mud room behind my kitchen! no floor! the old one was over a 100yrs old and was built on RR ties standing on end! (cheating in construction is nothing new)

Lots of little things to do on the boat. the larger things are remod the vee birth, new ash salon table top, counter top and nav station top.

AND I really need to get back to piano practice!

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I'm with Alex, another 52 weeks of sailing, well, maybe 90 until the next haulout! Around June of 09, maybe sooner if I decide to get rid of the ablative paint and go with a hard paint.................Gotta luv mild climate area's, first winter race is 3rd weekend in Jan.
