Rigging and Engine Surveyor in Annapolis

There are lots of threads about general surveyors in Annapolis, but does anyone have any recommendations on rigging surveyors and engine/mechanical surveyors in Annapolis? Ones who are actually worth the money?

Chris,
I used John at Eastport Spar and Rigging for my rigging survey. He is excellent. Although I didn't need him I know that Chris Oliver Sr is an excellent engine surveyor, probably the best. You can reach him at his son's shop, I think it is Westport Marine but I will check that tomorrow for you when I get to my boat.

Thanks Tom! Got my financing approved for the Hallberg-Rassy 53 and I'm awaiting acceptance (hopefully) of our final offer. If things work out, I'll own an HR53 with a Passport 40 tender in about 3-4 weeks.

Here's another vote for Chris Oliver Sr. as an engine surveyor. He advertises in SpinSheet so look there for his number.
