Shows us your homeport!

This thread was inspired by the "Tell Me What Place This Is" thread and all of the great pictures.

So...show us a picture of your homeport or home marina or home mooring.

I'll start by showing my two home ports. The first is Lake Charlevoix in northern Michigan tucked just off of Lake Michigan. My boat is kept there in Horton Bay (of Ernest Hemmingway fame) on a mooring ball part of the year.

The second picture is of the marina in Grand Haven, Michigan where my boat is kept the rest of the year.

Very nice! I lived in Redwood City for 5 years and enjoyed my time at the Coyote Point Marina and the waters of the bay. Truly one of the great sailing areas in the world. What marina are you at?

At Home In Maine...

We could have lived any place we wanted but chose Maine for it's sailing and beauty!

Our mooring during the summer is between those two trees and our house is about 50 feet behind where I was standing when I took that photo.

Our Harbor at 18 below zero F can you say sea smoke!
