Favorite Blogs

There was a thread here a few months back with a list of blogs that people enjoyed reading. It's gone missing! We just finished reading through Bumfuzzle. It was a great way to pass the time as a family, reading it outloud on our 2.5 hour trip to our boat, and 2.5 hour trip back home. Now I'm looking for similar blogs - decent writing, heavy content, humorous at times. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Decent Writing ? Hmm that's a stretch but it is laughable at times.....

I follow several blogs for inspiration, entertainment and ideas. I keep my own blog as well (http://www.sailblogs.com/member/dreambegins/) Sailingblogs.com is a great place to find hundreds of sailing blogs. Here's a few of my favorites that are sailing-related:

http://www.solo-sailor.com/index.htm (Female single handing a Flicka)

http://www.sailingohana.com/index.html (A Cruising Family)

http://www.netizenx.com/ (The blog of the yacht Mico Verde - a Westsail 32)

http://hackingfamily.com/ (Another Cruising Family)

SD - yep - looking for sailing related blogs. I'm still wondering what happened to the post from a few months back that had all the blogs in it.

I've enjoyed following www.handleysail.com. I have another one that I'll post tomorrow when I get back into the office. It's on my work computer.
