Monohull cruising is fine
When you slow down or retire. But there's another kind of sailing when you still got that spark:D :D :D
YEEEEE HAWWWWW!!! http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=WuRvuj...eature=related |
Did that in a Hobie off the beaches in Playa del Carmen . . it was a blast, until I was broached by a big wave. The Mexican beach boys who had to untangle the mess, wouldn't let me take it out again. Sore sports.

Right of way versus dropping in....Hmmm? I think size matters here. I miss my Hobie, its in AZ right now, maybe I should go get it? You haven't sailed until you get a Hobie completely airborne off a wave, its a blast. Thanks for the memories Hoffa!

That's what I would call moving like s*** of a shovel. Hey but these guys are doing it on a mono!

I miss mine too!
I miss my Hobie too. Monohull is where it is at for me now because the wife is not a swimmer and I refuse to subject her to the joy of riding the trapeze just after I have buried the leeward hull! --Maybe if she could swim--but nah wouldn't be good for our relationship:D

I once went out in wild surf (Harrison lake), with 6 of us aboard. The poor folks on the windward hull sure got wet.:D |
