Any feedback, opinions, etc. on the new Wauquiez's (e.g., build, sailing characteristics, comparables, etc.)...thx

The Pilot Saloon Series look like a VW bug on top of a boat.
You asked for opinions, right?

As you can tell, I don't like the looks of them.
Can't really help you on build quality and such.

It would really help if you had a specific model in mind... there are lots of Wauquiez boats, and like all brands, some are good, some not so much... also the newer ones are very different in appearance than the older ones...

This is kind of like asking if Ford makes a good vehicle... while they make an ok car, their trucks rock—but not all of their trucks are good...the Bronco II was a pig.

I went on a recent Wauquiez at a boat show and it was very different from the models from 10 years prior. The new ones show their Beneteau influence a lot.

Went onboard both the 40'er and the 41'ds at the Sydney boat show this year. Kind of weird really. Much prefer the DS overall but did not like the interior whereas the 40 has a nice interior but too much of the boy racer up top. If you could put the 40s interior into the DS , oh yes and add a skeg please, you'd have a nice boat.
