IP 350 Length Measurement

Has anyone had any experience with placing an IP 350 in a slip with 38 foot length limitation? Has anyone ever shortened the bow pulpit, moved the bow roller back, and used a Bruce anchor to bring the length of the IP 350 down so that it will fit under a 38 foot limitation??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
