I'm just looking forward to stuffing myself on turkey and trimmings. A happy holiday to all our fellow forum surfers!

Well said... and a Happy Thanksgiving to all....even the radical right...

While I don't approve of why we went into Iraq... I do fully support the troops who are there... The two are not necessarily exclusive to one another...

I've got a turkey to roast, sweet potatoes to bake, and a cheesecake to make for dessert.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

We don't have thanks giving, for many reasons.

But I respect other culture's traditions as I respect mine.

So have a nice Thanks giving you crazy Americans!!

From Alex's family.

I will be on SAR duty in the Gulf of Mexico and sharing food with friends. I will not be home but at least I will not be in Iraq either. I am thankful for many things and I am learning not to take things I have for granted.
