Does anybody else out there have a Bristol 28? Or know anybody that has? There is no info on this boat on the AOL Bristol owners group (they show 27 & 29 but no 28)

As I''m sure you probably know, the boat you''re looking at is a Contest. Heavily built, variety of keels, nice woodwork belowdecks. I almost bought a ''70''s Contest 31 with a Scheel keel years ago. Nice little boat, mucho gelcoat crazing. Search for Contest boats in Yachtworld, Soundings and the Contest website.

Our neighbor had a Bristol 28, which he was trying to sell last I heard. Don''t know if he did, but he now has a Bristol 35.5.

I have hull#6 of only 8 built. They are actually the 29.9 in every way with the exception of a reversed transom..done as a means to shorten loa and gain advantage with rating. She is moored in Wickford R.I.and sailed year round.Built in 1972,she is completely original with the exception of dodger, sails, and interior cushions.
