Several months ago, on our website, we wrote that the W.A. Coppins in Nelson New zealand produced what looked like well-made para-anchors at a reasonable price. Not only did another manufacturer write and say that their gear was just as good and just as affordable, we got a few letters asking why we were endorsing this particular para-anchor over others. In actuallity, we do not carry a commercially built para-anchor, nor do we necessarily recommend carrying one. Ours is a military surplus ordinance chute Bu-Ord. But we were just wishing to add one more name to the list of potential sources of supply. As we are currently doing the final work on the third edition of Storm tactics Handbook we'd like to make our list of sources as complete as possible - I am appending the list here - if anyone has other sources, especially if you know of anyone supplying BU-Ord 8 foot or 9 foot para-anchors, can you let us know?
