W.D. Schock Santana 30 info?

I own "The Jazz" a W.D. Schock Santana 30 Tall Rig built in 76. She used to be "Andiamo" and was owned by Tony Falella out of East Providence, RI. I have been trying to find out anything about Her. If you or anyone else knows of any website or group that has any info on Santana 30''s please e-mail me. I have had seven good years sailing her in and around Rhode Island waters. I have made many upgrades including a pedistal steering, cd player with cockpit and cabin speakers, chartplotter, new pressurized fresh water system, electric flush head with new holding tank, complete rewire including the mast, AGM batteries, JRC 1500 radar, Seldin roller furler and off course new sails. Anyone out there in the same boat as me, let me know.

The only place that I know of to get info on this boat is the Santana 30/30 website. It is not the same animal that the website is dedicated to, but they are helpful with what they know. I was thinking about buying one of these boats to PHRF Club race. I was wondering if you could give me some insite to the performance of her.
Anyone else that has any opinion on this boat, please let me know. Thanks, Sam

Hi Jazz! Congrats on choosing a great boat! I dont know of any S-30 specific web sites, BUT, I DID happen to run Schock Boats service dept. for about 8 years, and have spent many years sailing, racing, breaking and fixing S-30''s and other Schock / Santana boats, and I know a pretty fair bit about them. p.s., the s-30/30 is a TOTALLY different boat! The S30 was a Shad Turner design, and the S-30/30 is a Nelson/ Marek design, so I doubt you''ll get much s-30 info on the 30/30 wesite.
