Taking Opportunity to Introducing Myself

Hello to everyone.

I've been here multiple times as a guest browsing around and reading up on some helpful information pertaining to living aboard and future plans of home schooling. To start off, I live on a 36ft Pearson but sometimes stay upon our
25ft Bayfield. Even though I've been on the Pearson since 2006, I really like the Bayfield granted that it is smaller. Me and my husband have two kids. A girl 2 and boy just turned 1 year last week.

I'm looking forward to being a part of the Sailnet community and hoping to learn a great deal about boating than what little I know now. I'm hoping to accomplish the whole going up the mast. I'm hate heights but have been up a little ways. Pretty much, I moved here from a small town in Tennessee in the mountains to live by the coast and ended up on a sailboat. One accomplishment I want to achieve is to be able to talk with my husband and to fully understand what he is talking about when it comes to boats. I get cars but haven't got on board with the boat terminology.

I think I've said enough...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

SV,
Whatever you do don't send Giu a photo if he asks. It could be life changing if you do.

teshannon, you're not supposed to tell. If we let everyone in on the secret, he'll get no new ammunition.
