Giu:
If you can imagine the midwest as a body, Omaha is where the .... comes out.
Lived near there for a few years. Not a great place but a great place to be FROM.
There are some good eating establishments in the "Old Market" area downtown.
Butsy Ledoux's is a decent Cajun place and Omaha Steaks is good.

Shoot, he only thinks he's had fun flying Continental. Wait till he finds out what it is like to be iced in at -15C on the runway overnight.

Well, we warned you...

You should look/ask around and see if you can go iceboating. I imagine there are some around there. The ice has to be nearly perfect, but it's a lot of fun. Sorry that I have no local leads for you. I suppose if you do go, you'd be impressed by the speed.

So Giu...how did you like your genetically modified Omaha Steak? There are some people who think that the new cow DNA can mix with human DNA and cause problems...but I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Anything would be an improvement... right!!??

So Alex,
Now that you are back online and have apparently returned from Omaha, having survived your internment in the cold that is fondly known as our midwest -
Where are the sailing pictures from your trip?
