Low Water Levels Force Lake Mead Marina to Move

Here's the story i've been talking about.
link to story.
the shoreline has receded 1/3 of a mile in seven years and the water level down 124 feet. we're in bad shape here but there is still alot of water. just to give you a prospective of the lake size. if you click on the current marina cam link you can see they've put up a stabilizing platform. The white line on the rocks or bathtub ring as we call it is where the normal water level should be.

That's going to be a long swim from the parking lot. Maybe a little ice cap melt off will help?

The water is pouring out into the ocean. That is where it is going along with filling all of various towns' reservoirs for drinking water as necessary.

Yeah Danny moving to Hemingway, the batch Plant is sticking up 25 feet above the water(standing on the shoreline below) that was my deepwater dive at 100 feet. last summer i could still cruise the dink over the batch plant and see it 5' below. my bud was cruising over it and his rudder hit the concrete circle splitting his transom from the deck. very nasty.
