Choice of Burgee

You guys are so cheap!! You think that is expensive? Have you seen the NEW burgee?? It is very nice and a collectors item. They cannot even keep them in stock!! I heard people are flying them around the world, from sailbaots to trailers (including a certain moderator).

I agree... it is quite nice:

Of course, they also have these other burgees that they cannot give away. In fact, they will pay you to take them. Can't blame them really... the nerve of some moderators...

HEHEHEHEHE!!!!

PS Yes, they look quite nice, TB!!

The online company I bought my chartplotter from, included a very nice free t-shirt with my order. Even some marina's have given me a t-shirt over the years.

Maybe I should start giving clients tee shirts, thoughts.

Max-on:
T-shirts are for mass giveaways. Polo shirts are what you give to VALUED clients. And when they are done well...One vendor gave me a couple in nice sea island cotton (textured, not pique) for getting some answers right in a promo. I don't know how many times over the years someone has asked me about the logo and name--and my response was free advertising for the vendor. (The shirts have outlasted that vendor, curiously enough.)

Anyone with a bundle of free time or a time machine handy is welcome to try figuring out the difference between golf shirts and polo shirts (besides "What sport are you wearing it to?") that one seems already lost in the annals of time. I guess we call 'em "crew shirts" on a boat.

Max-on,
I thought that most of your clients got issued shirts by the state. (g)
