2008 Minto Mingle
The Three Tree Point Yacht Club's 2008 Minto Mingle is scheduled for June 20-22 at Dockton Park on Quartermaster Harbor, Vashon Island. The TTPYC welcomes all Minto owners to participate. Friday is arrival day, with most if not all racing occurring on Saturday. The race scheduling is kept pretty flexible to accommodate varying weather conditions found with Washington June weather. Although the participants are serious about their performance, the atmosphere is very relaxed. No race committees and no protests. The TTPYC is a great group and a sizable contingent from the West Seattle Yacht Club also participated last year. For the last couple years the Tacoma area West Marine stores have held their Customer Appreciation event at the same time to coincide with the Minto Mingle. It all makes for a very fun weekend.
