Cal 27 Spec questions?

Howdy,

I'm a new sailor, just starting out at the age of 21, and i'm 22 now. I was wondering if anyone knew the best place for me to find all the specs I need to know about my 1971 Cal 27 "Pop Top". Most of the Cal pages i find deal with the Cal 2-27 which were built very differently.

Also I was curious about how much my boat weighed. I found a spec saying that the boat had a displacement of 5400 LBS is that the actual pounds of the boat or is displacement mean something else?

Howzit Stevyboy,
Just reading some old threads. Your boat is a T/2 pop top, same as Cal13 on this forum. You can find some info at google; wm.Lapwoth designs. Post some pics. Our T/2 is doghouse style top(Solid) and is a great boat. Great that you're into such a good boat at a young age. You're very lucky to have the resourcefulness to get involved so young. Good luck.
