Sailnet's Picture Posting is broken. It hasn't worked since I became a member.. and don't try posting a table either. This is well documented in previous posts.

The workaround is to create an account at photobucket, picassa or other online picture sharing website. Then post links in your posts to the pictures that you post elsewhere.

I don't think the picture posting for SailNet is broken. I have been using it regularly, and there have been at least 4 new pictures posted in the CS forum in the last 2 days, and I posted a picture of my boat there last week. Try the following:

When you respond to a thread, there is a link under additional options to attach files. Click on "Manage Attachments" and this will bring up another window to allow you to upload the file from your computer, as long as it is within the specified file size. Good luck.

It is baffling...but I post pix from my own laptop all the time using the "manage attachments" function under the "go advanced" reply screen. Yet I know that many users can't do this.
My other choice is to click on this button and paste in the location of the picture on-line.

None of the Sailnet methods work for me either. I use Photobucket but even then have problems most of the time. Probably because I'm computer challenged though.

Using a plastic pail filled with photos doesn't work, no matter what you type on the keyboard...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
