glad to hear that you took possession but sorry to hear about your docking mishap. seems like a tough boat and beautiful to boot. hopefully that strainer will solve the problem.

N106 eh,

Will be taking of about 5pm from the D dock monday for a sloop tav race aboard a C&C, prepping for being crew at the NOODs in mid may. That is a nice marina.

Enjoy the boat, and those dings on the side of the boat, buffers and a wee bit o wax will take care of them really nice, not saying how I know these things

Now I want to know, whom is to blame for this picture.....

This was taken about 5:30 on the 18th, by 10 pm or so, we had some 5" of this stuff! I'm thinking Jody is to blame.........yep..........

BLT don't blame me for your snow... I can't generate that much dandruff. ha ha - but ironically when David left it - some ice pellets were coming down. I'll be in NYC and Boston starting Sun night - won't be back till thursday morning... enjoy the crewing - I predict more snow - so wear some extremely foully stuff!

I was talking to a potential client at the top of the faulteroy hill before going to the ferry, and she said there was not any snow down that way. I think it stopped about N Seattle around teh cut/520 area.

So not sure I can blame you, other than it stopped by you.......hmmmmmm.....now just HOW fowlly were those fouly's you had on?!?!?!?! hmmmmmmmmm

You know how prepared I am when I come on board... Yeah the weather has been a beetch lately - whats up with stuff - it hailed on me yesterday (bb sized)... then its sweating weather for a hour or so...

I hope this means this summer we get good temps and wind at the same time as usually if its good weather the wind is blah....

I had ice pellets friday eve while taking my boat to Shilshole for the race we did few weeks back. That was a COLD sob of a trip! Glad I bought some new insulated boat boats earlier in the week, May come in handy monday night!

Trying to get sheryl into letting my buy her some, but she is not into spending that on her right now. She has everything else she will need for monday. Boat even has heat, nice thing about sailing a 1.5 maybe 2 yr old C&C115!

Someday my bigger boat will come in!

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Which reminds me... I have about two weeks of upgrades and fixes to do.

Chainplate leak
Hot water leak
Fuel Pump replacement
Misc Electrical items.

David I know is on vacation next week. So I ask if any of you would be wanting to go out - learn some complex systems (or more importantly learn me these complex systems) ..Say May 3 or 4th... I'll provide bevs and grilled food - (Three BBQs topside not including actual stove / oven thingy)....

I am kinda resigned because this is way bigger than my C-27 - that the first few times going out, I kinda need to have others onboard. It re-instates my responsibility to others (when its me my thinking is way different) - and more importantly I can glean knowledge that from books I can not make in real life examples.

Any one that knows me - I am not beyond asking for help or accepting (a huge change for me the last few years)... beyond that would be fun overall in meeting new people and if you have never been on a IOR designed boat - maybe a interesting experience for you as well...

"Hello Gorgeous" is a racer - just complimented by a cruiser interior and she showcases that whether under motor or under sail (where she is happiest at). For the first few times, taking her out I am not ashamed to admit that she is a bigger beast than me and demands that respect. So if anyone is actually interested I pose this out there...You'll have a great time - and I will appreciate it.... It'd be nice to get her out there to do what she does best and even better that I can afford to let someone tend the wheel as I learn what all those extras are meant for....

PM or just post here..
