I doubt that... Sushi is a group of foods that involve vinegared rice...Some forms of sushi include raw fish, but the raw fish is called sashimi.

None use whales, which are mammals.

Sashimi=fish, mollusks (clams, oysters, etc), cephalopod (squid, octopi, cuttlefish), and arthropods (crabs, lobsters)

Sashimi≠mammals—like seals, whales, dolphins.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

500 feet unless they pop up right next to you. In which case boats are supposed to shut off the engine and wait till they go elsewhere or if possible and not at risk to the orcas - you motor outside the 500 foot range. Unless you have a whale tourist permits (commercial)...one may not actually hunt them down for whale watching (but then its still 500 feet).... some pretty strict fines if you are caught within that range to them and it has been observed that you chased down a pod to put yourself there...

I think that was a typo? I can't find any meaning to it?

Here is a few links on this page:

Settle PI

The 500 feet is a Federal regulation now I believe - and supercedes all state and local ordinance...
