Top Sail Schooner "Clipper City" on eBay

I had to do a double take when I saw "Clipper City" on eBay. I knew the last owner/operator was in big fiscal doo doo, but eBay??? Sure she may only cost you $215K up front, but imagine the maintenance and operating costs. Wonder if she'll stay in Baltimore? Bank repo special.

EDIT: click the word sail in the "link" below. Sailnet is messing up my link.
EDIT AGAIN: Sailnet keeps corrupting my link:( :( I'll try the link again later
EDIT x3: Damnit Sailnet.... Here is the google search link to the ebay link. sorry again guys.

This makes no sense. Parted out, the thing must be worth twice that. Think of the miles of tinned copper in her, never mind the 80 tons of steel hull.

Any idea if the thing is purely a booze cruiser/fake toy, or can it really sail?

Note, at 230,000, reserve still not met.

Repossessed by the bank? Wow...I hope she goes to a good home, I've been aboard her a few times.

Sapper -- no offense meant, and agreed on your point about nonsense titles.
