Now this is cool! NOAA mapping

Saw this on SA:

NOAA

It overlays NOAA maps onto google maps, very nice. A bit slow but still good. Make sure to zoom in on the US to see the maps.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Speaking of servers, does everyone else experience SailNet's sites stalling on a near-daily basis? I know it's not my machine, since connections to other sites are blazingly fast.

That really is very neat. I checked it out early this morning and it was much quicker than it's running now - I'm sure the servers are bogging down.

I would like to play with it for a bit, so please everyone refrain from logging on until mid-afternoon. Thanks. Much appreciated.
