Occasionally, I would get the chance to take a boat out through the years, and was suprised at what I remembered.
I signed up for lessons on Boston harbor in 2004 through the BHSC, and was introduced to sailing on Pearsons and Cals >25 feet. I realized that I love sailing, and have been looking for the right boat for the last year.
Since 2005 I have introduced "the Admiral" and she likes it too, but not as much as I do. I am ready to quit the job sell the house, the cars, and sail the east coast. She is not
I actually tried the "quit the job" part last year and did a lot of sailing, but found that I need a paycheck to pay the mortgage and taxes
. If I could figure out how to make a living (not a fortune) while living on a boat, we would be heading out there right now...
