Discharge Fines? And are sinks included?
On Lake Champlain you are required to both disassemble any overboard discharge hoses and plug MSD discharge through hulls. Does anyone know the fine if you don't? (disclaimer: We do NOT discharge on inland waters, but are just curious about what happens if you don't disassemble and plug). Also, does anyone know if sinks are included in this? Our galley sink is nowhere even close to our one holding tank.

Sinks are grey water, and generally legal for discharge overboard, even in inland waters or NDZs. Black water, or sewage, is the problem.

I don't think that sinks are regulated. Perhaps you could resolve the issue by relieving yourselves in the sink
