I'm baaaaack! And the new proud owner of a Tartan 30

Hey all, just wanted to update everyone on my situation. Last you heard I had bought a Hunter 30, well that deal fell through (luckily) and I just closed on a '74 Tartan 30 that's moored in Niantic, CT and will be moving to the boat in the next couple of weeks.

I'm not crazy about a red boat with a blue dodger and sail cover but I can live with it until I can afford to have them re-made in a better color. (sails are not on in this picture but they are now.)

Congrats - should be a nice coastal cruiser for Long Island, Block Island and Rhode Island Sounds, your new sailing territory . . . if you're really moving over here permanently.

Yep, I'm moving there permanently and will definitely live aboard for the summer and maybe the winter too, or take her down to Fla. for the winter, or Bermuda, or Bahamas, or ???

Beautiful boat! I like the red hull. The dodger color is fine. Spend your money elsewhere. Ever price one of those things? Ouch!!!!
