Your son is wise beyond his years.

What the committee did is inexcusable but your son, rather than complain, took the high road and you should be proud of him.

Even though he didn't win the race...he is clearly the winner.

Alex,

Fred is a great kid. Great kids come from great parents. You can learn a lot from him, including sailing.

In our book Fred is number one.

Sounds like Fred is more than a sailor, he’s a yachtsman.

....are you sure he's yours?

Alex,

You are doing a marvelous job creating a gentleman. I hope my boys turn out with as good of an outlook on life. Fred will go far with his intelligence, abilities, and amazing persona.

Fred never fails to impress me....(Alex, well... ).. Fred must have a lot of his mom in him! ----As always Alex, you should be proud of him, as I know you are, and proud of yourself for raising such a fine young man.--He is #1 among his sailnet fan club.

I kid you not..look at the race score chart..the shame..the lack of respect for the kids..

LOOK..

I deleted the kids names and the club's logos, but Fred, which I highlighted in yellow is in 7th place..

Look for yourself... I named the clubs A, B (Fred's club) C and D..tell me what is this??

BS is what it is..really..even the kid that got 1st, didn't do the 2nd race as we now know someone called him back when he was already going home, to do some races...the race was 2 miles from the clubs, and the kids need to sail home...in 25 knots, in Optimists...

Unfortunately, I'd be ripped at the committee if they did this to my son.

There's a lot I can learn from Fred.

Alex, why do some of the sailors in the first race have negative positions?

Ahhh that's another one ...don't get me going...after seing that the results in the top were not as they wanted, they decided to only count 3 of the 4 races, so the minus before means that race was not accounted....and from best of 4 they went to best of 3

check how many races the winner did not complete??
