Geenaker furling systems, do they work ?

I decided to ad a gennaker poole to my Elan 40, Now my question is about using a furling system for the geenaker, or usinga a sock as I used before, but I am thinking that the roller must be really easy and practical, please I would love any coments, pro and against ..
