Beej...so did you grow up around Reedville? Know the Altaffers?

Didn't at all. Grew up in North Carolina, moved to Georgia when I was ten. Dad grew up in VA though, and moved back there from Atlanta when he retired. Lives on the northern neck now, and has a little 28 foot Soverel on the Bay, near Wicomaco Church. He volunteers for Smith Point Sea Rescue, and helps with the derby. Thats him on the left in the image.

I was going to be out in that area around that time but work made me shorten my vacation from 21 days to 14 days so I will be home by that time. One of these days I will be able to take a month off and stay on the boat the whole time.

Beej...thanks...we sailed out of Deltaville for 20 years and made several jaunts to Reedville each year + know the Altaffers there. Thought there might be a utual connection. Nice town when the menhaden fleet is out!!
