They are indeed very good boats, and stuff like this happens..I don't know the story about the incidents, and all I could understand he he got new replacements for everything...at least they seem to have Customer support...

As for the failures...I don't know...

Maybe you need to add Hansee to MacGregor and Beneteau (Beneteau First 235 - Rudder - Transom joint) to your list of poor quality boats.. no wait, I haven't seen pictures of a Mac with problems like these... hmmm
