The Annapolis City Dock is known to local boaters as "Ego Alley" because it is the weekend and evening scene of a steady parade of expensive yachts.

Friday nite: Party for a recently certified USCG Captain
Saturday: Boomkicker installation. nicro vent install (hopefully - if it will fit on my hatch). Then the Saturday evening beer can race.
Sunday: Maybe a quick afternoon sail, then do some shopping for our upcoming trip to the BVI's!

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Well, if I don't quit messing around on SailNet, I may be working on the stuff I haven't done at the office today!!!

Then looking forward to meeting ChucklesR and MMR this evening. This will be the second SailNet couple we've met IRL this week - kewel.

Other than that, mostly packing and running errands, getting ready for a week of sailing in the Virgins with a good friend who lives aboard charters a big sister ship to ours. (smirk smirk)

Racing on Saturday is on the agenda. It'll be the first race of our summer series. Hopefully everything is a-okay at our marina because we had big boomer storms all night, and possibly a tornado.
Sunday, of course, is Mother's Day and my duties as a son are, well, paramount. Serving dinner at my place for nine.
