...that's quite a while to be "doing it". You might want to use something to minimise the chafing .... Been a long time huh ?

Beautiful boat ! Congratulations and hope that things go well for you.

Very Nice CC Ed! I'll make a WAG that Mrs. xort fell for the aft cabin with it's centerline queen.

Looking forward to some professionally Ed-ited sailing vids. (g)

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Glad to see you found one. Good thing you didn't look at the Irwin though. Might have made the choice a lot harder

Actually the photos plus report from the surveyor in NC made it a lot easier. The interior condition was more than I wanted to take on. This boat has very little interior cosmetic issues. Plus rebuilding the fordecks wasn't something I wanted to do.
Thanks for taking the time to give me that first look. It helped a lot.

For our listeners out there; PB did a walkthrough of an Irwin in NC. He reported that he thought the fordecks might be soft and some interior water stains. Joel fixed me up with a local surveyor who, for $75, did a brief once-over and took pictures of the interior water stains I was concerned with. Those three people put together a picture that I preferred to pass on. Saved me the cost/time of flying down there. Been there, done that!
Hooray for Sailnet and a big thumbs up to that genious who started the boat buying thread regarding 'remote viewing'. Absolutely brilliant! He's an invaluable asset here, he needs to be given special treatment.

Actually it was the ambience of the nice joinery. The drawers in the table are an example. Centerline queen in a CC was a given, we were not going elsewhere.

Bought an underwater housing for my small digital still camera so I'll try to get some action shots next week. Lots of work to do so video will be a while. I'll be at Crackerboy next weekend prepping for the truck if anybody wants to stop by.
