You're welcome. BTW, the fine sugar is usually called Confectioner's sugar in the USA. It's a very fine, powdery sugar that you often find on donuts.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

It's amazing you have time to do all that baking with THREE children at home!

There was a Portuguese Festival going on this weekend while I was at the boat, and that looks like one of the things I ate!

In the Point Loma area of San Diego, Ca. (a Portuguese enclave left over from the days when we had a tuna fleet), the Portuguese have a festival every year...always fun to go to.

Wouldn't it be easier to do that baking in a larger remodeled kitchen?

Thank you very much for the nice words.

Alexandre asked me to post a different recipe every week.

I was thining of a few recipes, like Cod Fish cakes, Cod Fish cream pie, Portuguese stew, fava beans Portuguese, and many more.

I also make a very good meat pie.

Once again, thank you, and I hope you like the brioches, because those you saw were gone in 15 minutes.

Also I only have 2 boys, and the big one...he is a boy also. So I only have 3 boys, not 4.

Busymom-

Those were great! I attempted to make them stuffed with ham and cheese this evening. I had to guess on the measurements, but they were great anyhow. By the way, how does one measure ounces dry? I converted each by the density to cups, but think I was a little off. Burnt them a little, (was preoccupied), but still the best thing I've eaten in quite a while. This poor college student (and his hungry roommates) look forward to the coming recipes. Again thank you very much!
