Whatcha doin' this weekend 5/15?

Fredia and I are leaving this afternoon and cruising around the San Juan's until Monday. Kind of a mini vacation. No real itinerary as yet so we'll end up wherever we end up. Just loading up the boat and going cruising around.

Heading up on Friday evening and coming home on Sunday evening.
What ever happens in between is not important.

Climbing the mast for the first time! Fun fun! Friday night sunset sail on Lake Michigan, possible afternoon sail on Saturday then off to NYC on Sunday (via jet, not boat!).

No Sail Saturday, but Sunday is in

The Admiral is finishing up her Intro to Sailing/Basic Keel Boat lessons on Saturday with a Navigation/graduation cruise in, out, and around Boston Harbor.

Sunday we're are still up in the air whether we sail our 33' boat or she takes me out and further practices on the Soling that she is learning on.

Doing a Yacht Club party on our community beach Saturday. Might splash my sailing dinghy just to putter around during the picnic.
Hoping to raise sails on the Gemini Sunday, depends on the accumulated list of honey do's.

Taking Taronga from NYC to St. Michaels MD - south down the NJ coast, around Cape May, up the Delaware Bay, through the C&D Canal and then south through the upper Chesapeake Bay to St. M. Will be running through the succession of small lows that roll across this weekend - hoping that it wont be raining all the time on all the watches. It will be brisk, but "predicted" winds will mostly be abeam or aft and the 20' seas and 50 kt gusts of early this week have moved out of the region.
