I was wondering how much it could cost approx. to have a 37 foot sailboat transported from east coast USA to Seattle.

I had a boat shipped last year, the broker told me to figure $2.85/mile plus 20% of the total, this turned out to be a pretty good estimate. Figure another 10 percent on top of that for the increase in fuel prices and you should be in the ballpark.
