I know some folks are still trying to launch so I like to give them something to dream about once in a while. Besides, I like seeing other peeps pics when they go sailing too. There's times when I'm stuck at work and looking at a sailing post just takes the edge off a bit.

eMKay, I have a Nikon 8008 but it needs a fixin'. I need to upgrade Momma's camera though. She'd rather I spent the money elsewhere. It's just hard to spend money on her because she never wants anything. I usually just go out and do it without asking her what she wants.

Nice story. Big wind, big waves. Next time you or anyone is in the area and the wind pipes up, and you want it to subside, just call and ask me to take my boat out sailing. It must be black magic or something, but for the last 3-4 months EVERY time we go out and raise the sails, the wind subsequently dies down to nothing...

Before I moved here I tried to move to Port Townsend. Three properties in a row fell through, so we figured someone was trying to tell us something, so we opted for our second choice: San Juan Island (not a bad fall back, eh?). I still would like to live there in PT someday. Point Hudson is cool, isn't it? That's where this summer's Lats & Atts NW Cruiser's Party will be (Aug.8-9-10). It should be the best one yet. Hope to see y'all there!
