any australians here?

Ozsail and Bullseye:

"General Discussion" is a hailing and distress topic, take your conversation to a working channel.

Relax Denr, that may be your idea for this message board, but Sailnet''s description states "anything goes"....

Bullseye,

There is a good Australian TS group of going on Ninemsn Groups. Even got one very humerous sailor (Not like Denr) from the US as a reguler. I can tell you that eyeryone is a little more friendly than Denr.

Denr, I don''t see what you are getting at? If you don''t particularly like what''s on this discussion don''t read it.

any australians here?

Oh, Capt. Denr,

You are joking, yes? A hailing and distress online message board? I picture a guy huddled over his laptop on the nav station, his hand on the EPIRB, while water is pouring in the companionway. The little caption above his head reading, "Come on, someone tell me what to do!"

This is a working channel; we''re working on learning about aussie beers.

Fair Winds,
MaryBeth

It was a rather good attempt at humor don''t you think? Too many people on this BB take themselves way to seriously.

I''ve been drinking Special Export these days, 30 can case for $10.99 although if Molson or Fosters goes "on sale", it''s going to be "on board".

Hey MaryBeth, why not come to Chicago and go sailng with me? The Aussies can come as well but they''ll have to bring the beer...perhaps some of the 4X you like so much.
