Is this boat still for sale? (Iknow, it's a 14-year-old ad.)

Since the OP hasn't even logged on in a decade I doubt you'll get an answer either way.

That is a wonderful boat though! (One of Bill Shaw's best designs- done while he was at S&S) You might try calling the phone number. Someone has had this great boat for a while and by now may be ready to sell her and move up.

Re: 23'' SEAFARER Kestrel for SALE

Or, the centerboard trunk may have developed a leak like so many others, letting the boat take on water until she sinks.

I looked at the one that's (still) on sailboatlistings.com; it's changed owners three times since the ad originally went up, and no one's bothered to take it down.

It's a 1970 model that was on a mooring ball at Coconut Grove sailing club. First thing I noticed was the 6 inches of water in the bilge...bow pulpit coming loose...rust around the chain plates...nice new iCOM radio mounted in the cabin.

Basically, it was a total basket case...don't know what he got for it, but it was gone a week later; probably to avoid paying mooring fees.

Could it have been restored? Sure, but who has the time? I'm looking for one that's already in Bristol condition.
