The time has come to NUKE the scales.
Apparently we have some new, vengeful members who delight in running around giving out bad rep to long standing posters as shown below:



How petty and crass is this. What was once a nice tool has been corrupted by mean spirited little people for no good. While it's cool to see your point level increase, it's not cool to see this kinda crap occur. We stand to lose at least one of our best members over this nonsense. Administrators, the time has come to get rid of the Rep point system.

How the hell did I get to 5? That was unexpected. Seriously, I like 'em but I can live without them. However, some people feel it's an unwarranted PERSONAL attack by faceless goons. I really don't mind if somebody disagrees with something I post. Just be straight up and tell me. If we all agreed, this place would suck.

You're not alone. One of our best members is being hit really hard and it's getting to him, rightfully so. I just PM'd Cam asking if there is something he can do. He took a pool recently and none of us gave a rats ass about reps. I for one would rather do away with the rep system than lose a valuable member.
