Sailnet via SSB?

I was curious if anyone access sailnet via SSB/Amateur radio?

As I understand it, it might be possible through something like ATOLWEB

Yeah, that darned sailing bug is hard to shake.

Unfortunately, MN provides some pretty paltry options for live aboard sailing. Lake Superior isn't bad (despite it's near freezing water temps year round), but is only really an option for a few months a year.

Anyway, I got motivated to get my Ham license after hearing Fatty Goodlander on NPR a few weeks back. (I'm interested in living on a boat, but can you imagine 47 years!!??) I'm going to try the Technician and General Exam next week.

... just need to suck it up and buy a boat on the east coast and see where it takes me.
