Help Me Name My Boat!

My boat needs a name and I can't decide. She's a red Tartan 30 hull #9. I would prefer a one word name and something with some meaning or an intersting definition that not just average joe might figure out, something intellectual so to speak.

So far I'm leaning towards 'Solace' but since she's red I might also like something that deonotes the color red, such as in fire, or color like "Dante's Inferno" but that's not one word and I'm not crazy the meaning behind that one, my friend suggested "Hell Fire" but I'm not crazy about that one either but you get the idea

Someone else suggested "Love Potion #9" since she's hull number 9 but I didn't like that one either.

Any and all suggestions will be considered. So what have you got? Heard a good name lately?

Thanks as always,

Steve

While I don't have a suggestion for a name. I'd like to say congrats on getting your boat. Looks like the first little step in your cruising plan is done.

You could always call her "Scarlet"

Rambunctious would be a great name for a boat. Oh wait, that one's taken. I also like "Fiasco" - but if I get a Melges 24 that will be the name and I may need to ask for it back.

I'll second Scarlet

Also:
Caliente
Tobasco
Cayenne
Beau Soleil (I might need this back also if I get a cruiser)

Ever seen Ayers Rock (Australia) at sunset? It glows red. The aboriginal name for Ayers Rock is "Uluru", which I always thought might be a good name for a red boat -- unless you're superstitious. Some people might think naming a boat after a rock is tempting fate.
