Saturday - last race of the Spring season on OPB's on Lake Ozark (powerboats already out in force, should be a mess)

Sunday - finish getting the pool opened up/cleaned, hammock time!

BW2 - ouch! Take care of that. Been there, not fun, and (sorry to say) slow to heal... )

Decisions, decisions

Still not sure what the Admiral and I are going to do: forecast is for temps in mid-90s with heat index of 100-110, winds 5-10 kts. Part of me wants to head out, drop anchor and swim all day to avoid the heat (water temps still in mid-70s), but the other part of me wants to stay home in the AC where I could work on varnishing some interior bits that I've been putting off. Funny, just last weekend I was thinking that this may be the time to get a bimini, before the summer heat arrives. Seems that my timing is just a bit off.

Tonight (Friday) we have the distance race to the Regatta. Tomorrow and Sunday we have the CFSA Regatta. Lots of keel boats and dinghies. Looks like it will be a moderately windy weekend with some clouds. Hopefully it won't be a drifter!

I have one more weekend of club volleyball to make it through before I can get out on the boat with its sails up. So far, its only been moved from winter storage down the river to the dock under power. Ugh! All I can say is next weekend had better be nice!

Kwalter,
Were sailing right past the mouth of your harbor and heading to White Lake.
Don't know yet if we are going to drop the hook in Indian Bay (I think thats the name of it) or motoring up the lake to the Municipal Marina. Probably go to the Municipal Marina. Join us there if you like.
I will corespond with you via PM's next week to narrow down our plans.
Boat name is "Julianna".

Hey Riz, that cruise I was planning is for next weekend. Do you think you could make it than?
Tim: I totally blew the dates on this one! Hopefully we can join you.

We raffled off a "day on the water" at a fundraiser for my wife's preschool.. so we're slated to fulfill that obligation Sunday.. weathers a bit shaky here now (coldest June 5 in over 50 years) but hopefully it'll work out.

People we don't know and have never met - could be an adventure.
