In advance, NOAA and ADDS... On the way to the marina; weather channel on my handheld vhf... Before leaving the marina; friends who are already out there by hailing on the vhf...

seems NOAA & Weather Radio are obvious. i've stopped looking at weather channel , they make too much "news" of the weather. don't forget, others use the ocean and are interested in weather and conditions . . .

The sources are still sailflow and noaa, but it helps to see them all on one page.

This time of year I check Hurricane 2008! From AccuWeather.com
every morning.
