Hey...What happened to my REP????

EDIT: MEMBERS UPDATE>>>REP SYSTEM CHANGED
1. Rep Points are back!
2. Negative rep has been eliminated...only positive rep may be given.
3. Rep is no longer given for each 1000 posts you generate. Your rep is based on what other members think of your advice... or how much they like you.
4. You can now see who gives you good rep.

You may have noticed that rep points and rep have now been eliminated from the site.
This is in response to the numerous threads and arguments we've had due to this system AND to the poll results which indicated that by a 2:1 margin, members favored eliminated the rep system if it could not be changed.

You may also have noticed that the "youchoose" active ad at the bottom of the page has also been eliminated. Dialup users everywhere are rejoicing!

Thanks to admin Jeff for implementing these changes!

No longer posting. Reach me by PM!

Thank God that I had the foresight to take a screen shot of my rep points, which I keep proudly posted on my cubicle wall.

Have I mentioned recently that I have/had THREE rep points?

Actually, I hadn't gotten any bad rep hits since last year - and that was from a flaming troll. My last totals were up to Rep Power 10 and 263 Rep Points . . . .

Needless to say, I voted to keep the system.

I don't like this. who do you trust and who don't you. It was a check and balance system. I got bad reps in the past but it seemed to go away. I think the rank and file salnet members know how to use positive reps and neg reps. my 2 cents

Cam, Can you forward me a employment application for sailnet. Now that reference's are not needed I could qualify for employment. I know I am being a arse. But reputation is everything in life, on line or not.

Hey! How can I get a bad rep for intimidation if you have taken them all away?
Gesh! Now I'll have to be a nice guy...sighing.
