Keep or Delete the Experts Thread?

OK...I started an "Experts" thread to make up for the removal of rep points.
Here is your chance to decide whether to keep it or not. Majority Rules...poll closes Tuesday at 5PM East coast time.
If you have not seen the Experts thread...please visit it in this forum before voting and leave any suggestions you have (if you want to keep it) on that thread. Thanks!

I would like to see it deleted. As a list of experts has no place on a forum.

Delete. I think that most sailors are very capable of figuring out what advice is worthwhile and what is BS. I also think that by having a so called experts forum you can seriously inhibit participation on the site.

Even though I'm an instructor in this field, I consider myself more of a student than an expert. I'm still learning and will admit it also.

I think the experts list turns it more into "Car Talk" than Sailnet. I think we do a marvelous job of separating the good ideas from bad. We even point out the mistakes of the experts if they make them.

Delete.

From what I've seen here if bad advice pops up it is corrected quickly by the masses.

As for me . . . I finally build up points and poooooof! Their gone. Must have been to many Carpenter and Slim Whitman songs in the song thread huh.
