Underway tomorrow come hell or high water

Siberian-like weather be damned! I'm going out on the B16 tomorrow. Haven't been out in 2 weeks and am already starting to see growth on the rudder. Goal is to make it out of Liberty Bay and learn the ways (currents) of Agate Pass. I made out to NUWC Keyport a few weeks back, but then the wind absolutely died and the water turned to glass.

Hello!

Please tell us more about yourself and your boat. I have figured out that you are sailing out of Poulsbo, but that's about it.

We're curious.

It's supposed to warm up a bit, but I'm not going to believe it unitl I see it. It's winter foul weather gear for me until we see a 70F day again. Have a good sail, bundle up!

We were out at Saddle Bag Island last weekend and had the diesel heater running Friday and Saturday evening. Geez!

Must be fun working on a boat on the hard in this stuff. When's the splash date John?

Be glad you aren't on the big muddy--Beautiful weather, sunny, 15 knot wind, but they have had so much rain in Iowa the river is 3 feet above flood stage, current 7-8 knots. I'd be crazy to go out in this! Have you ever seen what a sixty foot tree (doing 7 knots just below the surface) can do to a fiberglass hull? Sometimes I wish I had a trailerable, so I could tow it to a frog pond somewhere and sail!
