Short Video: Family Daysail

Had a great father's day weekend. We trained down to the Gosport yesterday morning and went out for a daysail on the Solent. Some upgrades to the family laptop inspired a Movie Maker and Youtube test. Thus, the following is a short video from yesterday's sail (shot on a Canon SD 750 digital camera).

A more traditional photo gallery of the sail is at

So, who else had a good father's day weekend?

Thanks for all the great replies. The family is moving right along on running the boat, and the kids are actively seeking more on-board jobs and responsibilities.

Now I need to find a better sized dinghy for them to row around. The Wetline 2.3 we have now is very heavy and surprisingly small...

Another project: replacing the tiller with a new one. I think will will go through IdaSailor for one:

Thanks for the videos and photos.
Looks like a fun day on the water.

We got in just over 100nm's this weekend. A little mini cruise of 40+nm's each way. Saturday was a dead run and Sunday a beat.
