Barberis Sciacchetrà

I sail in the Northern Adriatic and have recently bought a Barberis Sciacchetrà, which is apparently the Italian variation of the classic Ecume de Mer. I''m wandering if there''s anyone out there in the wide blue yonder with a similar vessel with whom to share tips and mutual self-satisfaction! Please reply in English, French, Italian or Spanish (and Slovene at a pinch). Yes, I''m that keen!

Again... reviving old dead threads is not generally recommended... if he's only posted six times and the last time was in 2004... it isn't very likely that he's still an active member... UGH...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I understand it must be very tiring to see a small highlighted piece of text in your browser window saying 'Barberis Sciacchetrà' .
