With the advent of desktop publishing software and tools for cutting vinyl, there are plenty of sign shops that can do this type of work these days.

I don't think you need to go to "Marine" outlets for this.. but do let the supplier know where you plan to use the decals. We had good success with a general sign/banner outlet and nowadays even custom graphics are much more affordable and easier to produce.

We just did this. Went to an auto trim/graphics place, and gave them our design. They emailed us back the graphic, we made a few changes and we went in later and picked it up.

Looks awesome, and now they have our design on file, we can get a new one if we like, and it is easy to resize if we like.

Total cost was $73.00 with tax.

Look in the phone book under sign maker or sign companies.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

We have another recent thread on this topic...but BoatUS.com has an online service where you can design the whole thing right there and order. Have done this with 2 boats and it worked out great each time.

No longer posting. Reach me by PM!

I had mine done at my local FastSigns franchise. They helped with the design after we came up with a basic idea. They were much less expensive than the sources that deal exclusively with boat decals, just like other boating products.

The SN search engine is not that great and you have to dig a little. Here is the thread that Camaraderie was refering too: on line lettering

Nevermind the "lack-o-respect"... welcome to sailnet idealflaw.

I used motorsportsgraphics.com at the time they were the cheapest, had the largest selection, and boat section with packages
