16ft Vulcan KC20

Hi everyone,

Bought this dinghy a few years ago, and am looking for some assistance, specifically sail rigging info.
Have tried searches of mostly any sort I can think of, but it seems to be a boat without a great deal of documentation.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am the owner of Vulcan KC17.
I am not sure how much I can help with rigging.

As you may already know, the Vulcan was designed by Peter Milne of Fireball fame.
Your boat was manufactured in Ottawa by BY Boats which merged with Skene boats around 1979. In 1981, the owner and his family died and the class I have not been able to follow the class after that time.
From the picture in your post, I see you have a Needlespar mast.

The sails were made in Barrie by Storer Sails which became Sobstad.

If I recall, KC20 was one of the first Vulcans to get a rectangular daggerboard trunk and an aluminium daggerboard with an exposed lead weight.
